I've heard mixed things about the accomodations. The rooms are cheerful and bright with views over LA or the Sunset Strip. The diner is a great place for late night dining. The bar is fun.

We have just returned from a wonderful eight night stay at The Standard.
The central location makes the hotel a great choice for those who don't know their way around and many tourist attractions are nearby. In addition there are lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance.
