Sushi on the Sunset Strip

Sushi Ya is a good sushi bar that just happens to be in the middle of the Sunset Strip. Although Sushi Ya feels warm and friendly like the corner sushi bar it's a little trendy and bold because of the clientelle and location. Prices are a little expensive, but the food is complemented by sidewalk dining and people watching --Hollywood types and model wannabees. Free parking is in the back.

I fell for sushiya last Valentines Day! The staff is so welcoming and genuinely care that each person leaves having had a fabulous experience! Sunset creates the energy and Sushiya provides a hip yet casual atmosphere to enjoy it! I recommend you ask for the sushi chefs special!!!

hottest girls on sunset and great food. the only reason you might be disappointed is if you are super set in your ways/traditional japanese dining. i don't really think of this place as a SUSHI restaurant but rather a fun, great restaurant.
