If they seem to forget your menu when you walk in this dimly lit "authentic" Mexican hideaway, it's not a sign of bad service. Like a good story, the servers of Taxco rely on an oral tradition of sing-songing your entrée options. Diners can choose from several main dishes (beef, chicken, seafood or vegetarian), and then the feast begins, delivered in several rounds. Meatball soup, cheesy... more

Gregarious waiters decked out in guayaberas sing basic entree choices like beef, chicken and shrimp dishes to guests. The food is consistently good, as are the margaritas. This is not somewhere you go for a quick meal. Plan on spending some time enjoying the fun, yet slightly cheesy atmosphere.

Pros

+ Food, Margaritas

Cons

- The wait to get a table

Food so good I will drive over an hour one way to Dine Here.
