If they seem to forget your menu when you walk in this dimly lit "authentic" Mexican hideaway, it's not a sign of bad service. Like a good story, the servers of Taxco rely on an oral tradition of sing-songing your entrée options. Diners can choose from several main dishes (beef, chicken, seafood or vegetarian), and then the feast begins, delivered in several rounds. Meatball soup, cheesy...

Other Reviews from the web
The food was pretty good, Not really Mexican food.
truly let down by the margaritas!!! wow- those were bad!!!
OK to go to if you have one of the two for one coupons!!!
Cons
- parking
The food is consistently good, as are the margaritas. This is not somewhere you go for a quick meal. Plan on spending some time enjoying the fun, yet slightly cheesy atmosphere.
Pros
+ Food, Margaritas
Cons
- The wait to get a table

This has been one of my favorite restaurants since the early 1970's. The waiters are fabulous and so effecient. No Menus is a nice touch. The food is the best I have found. My children have all eaten here at some time and still talk about their experience. My older children have returned on their own over the years. I now live in the Antelope Valley and look forward to my trips to Hollywood to...
