In my opinion, there are two reasons to come to this establishment:
1) Marble Brewery in Albuquerque
2) Odell Brewing Co. in Fort Collins
Since these breweries (for now) do not distribute to Texas, the Side Door is the only place you can find them and it's well worth the trip. I'm sure there are some others that don't make it to Texas and there are some delicious rarities that are constantly...

I'm glad I found this liquor store, it has a good selection of beer but compared to most places in El Paso, it has an amazing selection.
Unfortunately I'm a bit of a craft beer junkie so I've tried most of the beers they have but it's a great place for me to go get some of my favorite brews.

This is easily the best place to get beer in El Paso. They have well over 100+ varieties of craft beer available and the option to build your own six pack. They also feature beers that you can't find anywhere else in the city, IE Rochefort 10 and 6.
Its adjacent to a restaurant called State Line. You're allowed to purchase beers from the liquor store and enjoy them with your meal.

Possibly the largest bottled selection in the city. Maybe even the region. They told me they have over 250 different beers.
They also let you build your own 6 pack, which after tax comes out to just under $10.
That makes Side Door the single best place to buy beer in the greater El Paso area. Huge selection, great price.
They even carry a few Trappist beers. Last time I went they had 3...
