My wife and I really like their tempura dishes, sushi, and decor. Having been in Okinawa, I really appreciate the consistency of their food, service, and decor.

Met some friends here on the recommendations of my sister who lives in the area. Great little Japanese Restaurant serving good Japanese home cooking and with a full service Sushi Bar. In search of soft shell crab, my boys favorite.
Yes, yes, he's only 3 years old, but heck, this boy knows what taste good and what doesn't. lol And he loves Fried Soft Shell Crabs. lol

A quick search brought me here to New Harima Japanese Cuisine.
It's a very nice place. The decor and ambiance was very mellow They have a small sushi bar section (which was packed, a good sign indeed)

A Quaint Restaurant

Harima is located in a strip mall, and is not hard to find. It is a very quaint restaurant with the feel of actually being in Japan. The decor is much like a local restaurant in Japan. The menu is extensive, and one is bound to find something to your liking. We found the food we ordered very pleasing.

I have been going to New Harima at least once a month for the last 11 years.  There are very few restaurants I can say this about.  It’s partly due to the fact that I work very close to it but mostly due to the great food and friendly staff.
