Help us make it rightI've been homebrewing for about 3 years now and Ive visited every homebrewing store in the greater Seattle area. I believe that Mountain Homebrew is the best by far. It is a large well lit store that is very well stocked and attractively merchandised. The store is always very clean with no dust on the product or grains spilled on the floor. The staff has always been very friendly, knowlegeable...
This place saved my butt one dark and rainy night. Already to brew and I check my hops and I'm 1oz short at 6:00PM! Shoot! Head to Google and I find Mountain is still open! So I head out there and find this place tucked in a plaza right off I-405. A lot of LHBS are in warehouses but this one is nice like a quiet bookstore. They also have a recipe book at the front with copies you can take home. My first homebrew was the MayDay...
Mountain Homebrews staff is pretty knowledgable and friendly bunch. The store has a mix of wine and beer making supplies available as well as soda and mead supplies. My only complaint is I wish they had more variety on some of the products, but that is relatively minor.

Do-It-Yourselfers interested in hand-crafted drinks will love Mountain Homebrew & Wine Supply. Since 2000, it remains the only supply store of its kind on the Eastside. Beer and brewing supplies account for the majority of its business, however more seasonal wine and cider enthusiasts make up a good share of its clientele as well. Amber and IPA top the charts as the most popular varieties of...
