Help us make it rightMcIntyre's was the place to get fried clams and all fried seafood back in the 20th century but unfortunately the place looks like it is closed for good. If you can stand the line, the Clam Box is just down the road a piece (toward Ipswich) ...
Boy was it a shock to return to this place after almost 10 years
of living in Boston. The place was run down, but they had jacked
the prices up. They need to improve something, the decor, price,
or quality of food. If you're not from the area, it's alright.
Once upon a time this was one of the best places for fried clams,
but, no more. In fact I ate here one day with a group of 8 friends
and none of us was impressed. The food is awful and the prices are
very high for what you get, even if it were good. CAN YOU SAY BUMMER...
This eatery dishes up an American cuisine and is most sought for their seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $8 to $12, and visitors typically dress casual.
