Like many others, I thought we could beat out Orenchi's wait, but alas, our hungry tummys couldn't take it. We went to Misoya.

Ambiance cool, open and neat. They had immediate seating and sat us at a table for two.

They ONLY have miso ramens. The menu kind of delves into the nuanced differences so I settled on the Kome spicy ramen and the hubby the special Tonkatsu spicy ramen. Spicy means...

Misoya has a lot of potentials. With a few minor issues ironed out, I think Misoya could would give Orenchi, Ramen Dojo or Santouka a good run. Their Shiro Miso Chashu Ramen is quite a winner.

If this is your first visit, do not get anything without the chashu. The housemade chashu is unlike anywhere else. Every piece is nicely grilled with lovely charcoal flavor and excellent fat distribution...
