If you are not afraid to dance with always being judged by others, then it is okay to go. I have danced there a few times because I love to dance. Each time I go there, there will always be older students that seem to get more attention and so they always talk about others in class, and during class sessions. If you are prepared to experience gossip while dancing, then it is ok to go.

This place is a dance school catered to only serving older dancers who have danced with the school for over 10 years. I like it because they keep giving me more attention than other students. However, I do think it is very unfair.

The most professional studio in the bay area! I have been looking for challenging adult high level studio of the kind that you can only find in the big cities (New York, London, LA). Zohar is it. The classes are serious if you are looking for good jazz instruction, and great fun if you take beginning - especially on Saturday Mornings!)

For 31 years Zohar has been teaching ballet, jazz and modern dance to adults in South Palo Alto's Cubberly Community Center. Classes are taught in a spacious studio with theatre capabilities by talented instructors. All classes are ongoing.  You can purchase the number of classes you would like to attend during a two-month period.
