Foxy Falafel

I fell in love with Foxy's food truck when I worked downtown and was so happy they opened a brick and mortar. It's a quaint restaurant with only about a dozen tables and a few outdoor seats. You order your food at the register and they bring it out to you. My favorite is the stoplight sandwich with spicy harissa. Great (and healthy) salad with falafel and a tasty microbrew on tap were positives of this place we'd heard a lot about over the years. Unfortunately, blasting heat and music made for a really unpleasant ambiance. Despite enjoying the food, I doubt we'll be back.

I stopped in a little late in the evening for a chicken gyro and fries along with a beer. I found their menu a little artsy and the women behind the counter utterly useless, she just kept mumbling that things were "good" and "popular". I guess I was hoping someone could educate me a bit on what I might enjoy...

My son and I ate here, based on a recommendation from his girlfriend. It was a treat for us! We ordered 2 different falafel platters (falafel, curry) and 2 different sauces (cucumber mint yogurt, spicy harissa), and shared them.
