Raise a large, foamy stein of German beer and enjoy an inexpensive dinner of wursts and sausages.

In Short

German, Pubs

Beer flights in Dusseldorf. Had a flight of beer here, 6 (maybe 4oz?) glasses and it blew my mind. German beers and not much in the way of food, unless you count pretzles or cold sausage, but I love that even the pub food feels authentic. You can order a litre or a half and get cozy in front of some football game on the tele (the other kind of football of course).

Great atmosphere, good service. Darts were fun and beer was good. We just didn't like the pretzel, it wasn't homemade and tasted old after about 10 seconds.

A small German bar on Roosevelt near the Lake City exit in Seattle. I'm sure the German beer is good and they do have beer boots. I wasn't in the mood for beer so I opted for a whiskey sour. I like the place enough where I would go back.

What to Drink

Not a beer fan? Keep with the German theme with a Gurken martini, made with their own cucumber-infused vodka.

Look Good

Become a member of the Stein Club and drink your way to fabulous prizes. 100 liters gets you a personalized beer stein; 500 gets a personalized stool at the bar, so bottoms up.
