For the life of me, as a transplanted Texan, why does this restaurant group receive ANY favorable reviews?
Because it's cheap? Well, you get what you pay for --- flavorless food, nothing resembling Mexican "cuisine" and a thoroughly pitiful dining experience.

Everytime I go to El Paso, Chico´s is one of my "must" stops. I always order a hot dog, a double order of tacos and fries.

My wife and I haven't been to El Paso in several years, but each time we do visit we must visit Chicos Tacos.
Although the sauce was more runny than I remember and the rolled tacos were a bit more crispy, the meal was still...

Very disappointed, ,,,,,,, chicos is not the old chicos, taste is different the meat has no flavor and the sauce doesn't taste the same... close to 9 dollars for that..hell no, should have gone to a real restaurant for that money.

The food is decent. If you really want authentic Chico’s then go to the location on Dyer. If you have a serious craving, just know that at this location it can sometimes be stale.
