Help us make it rightLocated in the historically registered Capital Club Building at 16 West Martin Street, we’re happy to be part of the electricity of downtown Raleigh, paying homage to the old and the new of the capital city.
We stumbled across this place Searching for brunch the morning after Brewgaloo. This was a great place with friendly staff and great food!
We stopped to meet one of our previous awesome coworkers who moved to Raleigh. She recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Great menu selections at reasonable prices. I had the schnitzel with homemade fries. Absolutely excellent. In addition to the great food, their deco is recycled from NY. Great atmosphere and service.
Meh. For all the hype this restaurant attracts, I just don't get it. Went this past Saturday night - got there shortly after they opened at 6 and was able to score a table for 2 near the front. The place quickly filled up with other patrons waiting for a table, which meant there were a few awkward people standing...
Our party of five was accommodated after arriving from out-of-town at the last minute and we were so grateful. The staff was helpful and friendly in working to get us in.
We started with a wonderful bottle of Austrian wine and a Farmhouse Cheese Board. The cheeses were delicious, and I found the perfect bite to be a torn piece...
Enjoyed a great lunch. Food is delicious and well presented. They were very crowded at lunch and if gets loud (we were in a middle table) during the lunch rush. I had the Tarragon Chicken Salad sandwich. The chicken salad is a very smooth and creamy consistency and very good.
Traditional American fare is available at this casual eatery in Raleigh. It serves things from the bygone era like beef brisket and horse radish minis, schnitzel sandwich, club burger and skillet mac and cheese.
