Minnesota cuisine with a spice of Asia is what makes Azia Restaurant & The Caterpillar Lounge different from other restaurants in the city. Try out the strange creations of Azia like Grilled Pork with Apple Plum Chutney and the Vietnamese Coconut Curry. There is also great music and a wonderful atmosphere inside. Azia Restaurant and Bar serves innovative fusion cuisine in an eclectic East-meets-west environment. Specialties include grilled pork tenderloin, sweet potato stew, rack of lamb with exotic Asian mushrooms, and grilled duck breast in green curry.
From 3 to 6 pm weekdays, Azia offers small plates for $4.95, including Tom Pham's famous sushi rolls, potstickers, cranberry cream-cheese puffs and more. Certain red and white wines are half-price, and the normally expensive fruity drinks go for a little less expensive $7.
The cocktail list is chock-full of tropical delights--don't miss the flaming Molotov mojito.
The main dining room offers the best people-watching and the warmest atmosphere.
Late-night crowds gather here of the late-night Happy Hour (same as the one that runs weekdays from 3 to 6pm), and for the DJ spinning club hits in Azia's Caterpillar Lounge. Looking for low-key? Azia has that, too, in the restaurant's main bar and dining area.
A DJ spins from 7pm to 11pm daily, encompassing down-tempo tunes from Europe and Asia.
