Help us make it rightWest Third Street is chock full of restaurants, generally of the brunchy, carb-y variety. Smokin' Joint wants to feed you meat in the afternoon. Barbecue not beholden to one specific region, but cherrypicked according to the owner's tastes. Baby backs, tri-tip...smoked filet mignon. Something called "kicking wangs." Heavens. Not a fancy place in the least, reflected in the decor—simple tables...
Barbecue and rock-n-roll. Large video screen playing old-time performances. Enthusiastic owner and waiters who are eager to please. Large portions that are impossible to finish.
Food good, but the fried pickles are sweet not dill. Won't let you share plates without a $5.00 charge. Will not return.
always pleases, never disappoints. Great for take out, eat in or catering. Love the flavors and the portion sizes are huge! Also love the old music videos playing on the screens on two of the walls.
Good BBQ food, so I'm not sure why this place seems to be empty, hope that people start going there so it stays open.
Overpriced. Food is a bit greasy, and is not worth the amount of money you pay for it. Avoid this place.
