I wish I could give Savanna Jazz a higher rating because I genuinely liked the vibe and the staff. That being said, the food was subpar at best and they were severely understaffed making the wait times for service ridiculous. Jazz band was remarkable 5 stars..food was mediocre. Waitress encouraged table next to ours to sing happy birthday in the middle of a jazz song..really?! After 11 hours of working in this establishment you should know not to sing, let alone speak during Duke Elington! Who does that..after the song, band pointed out they should have kept going with a "cut the cake" song.

We really enjoyed the jazz club atmosphere, the vocals, the regulars and the feature jazz people that played while we ate their tasty hamburgers. A good spot to relax to great music.

One of the few legit jazz venues left in the city, pretty intimate venue, you can actually chat with the musicians in between sets!
