Though the street outside is one of the busiest in Bellevue, you would never know it from the oasis environment of this lovely eatery. The lighting is suitably dimmed and the thick walls provide ample buffer from the outside traffic. Diners are encouraged to linger over their meals in quiet conversation. The spicing is perfect for those who don't like their Indian dishes to explode in their...
This Indian restaurant, owned by Alam Malik, has been a Bellevue fixture since 1994, though its location has changed. Its tikka masala keeps bringing back the customers. Bill Gates is known to drop in for a meal occasionally. The daily lunch buffet is affordable and delicious. Other tandoori specialities guarantee this family-run business will be around for many years to come.
I read that Indian Food is great for you love life because of the spices they use. Well, I am here to tell you that I don't know if that part is true, but I do love the Indian Food here. It is good for giving some love to my taste buds. I love the Lamb Saag, their Jasmine Saffron Rice w/Curry Veggies! Yum! Make sure you try their Rice Pudding for Dessert, the best in town!
My friend really love their meatballs with masala sauce, tomato-ey and garlicky, with very tender meat, they were really good.Baighan bharta was delicious, and I love the brown spices and spiciness in the Jalfrazie — we opted for fish and the fish was tender and tasty.Chili masala was glorious with wonderful aromatics.Since dinner was very good, I had to go try their lunch buffet, but was a...
Been here once for the lunch buffet, and was pleasantly surprised. The staff/owners were real patient and enthusiastic explaining what each dish was, and there wasn't anything I didn't like. The vegetarian dishes were so flavorful, I ate those more than the chicken dishes. I'll definitely be back.
This was my first time eating Indian food. It was so good I am sorry I waited so long. The Moghul Palace was recommended by friends and it didn't disappoint. They had meatballs, and the Tindoori (I think) and I had a pepper/ tomato dish (sorry I don't remember the name) but it was great. The owner was very nice and willing to discuss the intricacies of his recipes.
We used to go to the downtown Bellevue location and decided this weekend to check them out in their new location - new menu and appears to be new owners. We had chicken saag (not on the menu) and Tikka Masala, Aloo gobi (potato & cauliflower), garlic naan and a wonderfully, unique and delicious Raita, rice for 2 and 1...
We used to frequent the restaurant when it was closer to downtown Bellevue.
We loved the food and presentation, but upon moving, something changed. (New chef perhaps?)
Tandoori used to come on a sizzling platter, now it comes on the plate and is ok, but not
as hot and moist as it once was. Service and owner are GREAT...but the...

Moghul Palace, Lounge, Elegant Dining
The Mogul Palace was established in 1994 with the motto to offer the finest cuisine of Indian foods and curries. The Mogadishu Palace is famous for its style, service, ambient and food. The Mogul Palace has the Mogul Indian style where flavor rather than heat, along with a combination of many spices, is the distinguishing feature, blindfolded and judged purely on taste, you could be enjoying a...
Rumor has it that even Bill Gates comes to Moghul Palace, where Indian favorites like curries, roasted eggplant and tandoori are served.
