Editorial reviews from the web (3)

The small, stylish Galleria Park Hotel, a favorite address of savvy business travelers, harbors this sleek but casual restaurant with the talented Michelle Mah wearing the top toque. Mah's menu is New American with contemporary French bistro touches, and all the dishes—warm seafood salad with fried artichokes, pork rillette with pickled radishes, panfried skate with lemon brown-butter sauce and...

Suits, be at ease: from lunch to happy hour, the needs and desires of Financial Districtoids receive expert attention. Nice bar to drink away your wait for a table, then plentiful French-ish brasserie favorites to absorb the first couple rounds. Charming, chic, and not aiming too-too high, but excellent representative of the species.

French brasserie fare in a slick Fidi location.

Like ""NOPA,"" ""Midi"" is an initially annoying abbreviation for a newly christened neighborhood—the alleged ""Mid-District,"" where the Financial District and Union Square overlap—but as with...

Amazing! I have long, dry, curly, frizzy hair and Blow always does an amazing job! I don't like product, and even without it they always make my hair smooth and perfect! I have used Dry Bar and I...

Having only been in SF for few months, my choice of hairdressers is still a hit and a miss. I haven't found anything that was amazing or really bad either. Blow seemed like a good place because of...

I realized that I was driving from Marin to a Burlingame meeting with bad hair, so I had to Yelp a place that can help me out and found Blow to be the closest to where I parked my car at 5th and...

Tips about this business (4)

Know Before You Go

The variety of the four-course, $19 "Midi Quartet" is tempting, but the portions are small; opt for one of the entrees instead, which are less expensive and better showcase the chef's talents.

When to Go

Midi is open for dinner, but is really the perfect lunch spot: impressive enough for a business outing, yet casual (and reasonable) enough for a co-worker lunch date.

Save Money

Stop by during lunch and get the single-plated Midi Quartet: salad, soup, fried cod and chocolate pot de crème for $19

When to Go

Lunch is served daily 11:30am-2:30pm; dinner runs 5:30pm-9:30pm. The bar menu, however, is available all day, up until a half hour before closing.
