Little Sister is a classically Californian fusion restaurant that offers the tastes of Thailand with a special nod to its home state's insistence of freshness. Rather than focus solely on classic dishes, the ingredients take center stage at this elegant eatery, contributing to perfect flavor combinations that range from iconic dishes to brand new creations. With an extensive drink menu...

Little Sister features East-meets-West inspired dishes served in a relaxed social environment that feels more residential than restaurant.

Little Sister's menu showcases Chef Tin's take on one of the more interesting and rich collisions of food and culture that ...was borne out of the European colonization of Southeast Asia. Dishes blend and balance the spices and flavors of Southeast Asia with French techniques and Dutch and British colonial influences. The menu is continually and progressively evolving, reflecting inspiration...

Little Sister's Shanghai "WildCraft" Beef Rolls

As part of Eater Pizza Week 2014, chefs at five LA restaurants that don't serve pizza agreed to make a special limited edition pizza-inspired creation on offer just this week. Every day we'll highlight a new pizza, today we have Shanghai "WildCraft" Beef Rolls from Little Sister.

Chef Tin Vuong over at popular pan-Asian...

At this sibling of nearby Abigaile, chef Tin Vuong offers a midpriced menu of Asian dishes with European touches (think red-braised pork belly with roasted wild mushrooms and leek fondue) plus craft beers and wines; the stylish Manhattan Beach storefront looks more Singaporean shophouse than South Bay.

Jonathan Gold Discusses Little Sister in Manhattan Beach

Jonathan Gold takes a general liking to Little Sister, the Manhattan Beach restaurant opened in July by restaurateur Jed Sanford and chef Tin Vuong. The popular eatery is offering a medley of pan-Asian dishes that are better than one would expect:

As the murderous butterflies suggest, Little Sister is a date-night restaurant with mayhem at its soul, Vuong's menu suggests a pan-Asian small...

But after we arrived with our toddler, 3 other families came in with children. They seriously...

Awesome place! Great food, great service, love how you share all plates. The waitress seemed to know the menu super well also which helped as the plates are served as is and my girlfriend is a pescatarian.
