Everyone has to have a favorite Italian restaurant in New Jersey, and mine is this genius eatery in Collingswood. You'd have to go very far to find a place so effortlessly conversant in Italian-American vernacular food and yet also so accomplished in high-end Sicilian regional cooking.

A little pricy. We got charged $11 PER person for the appetizer. I thought that was a little high. I guess we misunderstood the menu, but no one explained that to us. I got rabbit at the time and it was ok. I was still hungry when I left. Small place. And yes, Noisy as others said.

Zeppoli is a wonderful restaurant. Chef Joe prepares the most delicious foods - I highly recommend the antipasto platter as a dish for the table to share - also, don't skip the pasta course, even if you only order one plate to split among the dinners at your table (try the pesto or lemon pasta). This Collingswood BYOB joins a group of restaurants offering South Jersey diners great options. Zeppoli provides excellent food, well prepared and reminiscent of Grandma's kitchen.
While our meals were superb, the small restaurant was lacking of character and diners are distracted from their food by an opening/closing front door that provides a rush of freezing air to chill any warmth...

Wonderfull prepared simple Italian food with strong Mediterranean influence. I had a salad and wonderfully prepared whole fish Sea Bass with olives capers and grilled zucchini. Others enjoyed pasta with pesto and eggplant rigatoni as appetizers. Sword fish, chicken and their signature marinated ribeye were all delicious. A delightful evening of great food and a delicious Brunello!
