Worst red wine I've ever had, no Chardonnay available. Server not happy to see my Deal Chicken coupon. Coconut shrimp salad was overpriced at $6 with only 3 shrimp! But eggplant was good, pasta outstanding! Great young chef hampered by poor management and atmosphere. Lit up like a diner at 9PM?

We went to Z Restaurant for lunch. As was mentioned in other reviews it is in a strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside. We were pleasantly surprised when we went inside. Tucked away on a busy street in a small , out of the way strip mall -like building. Great food! Superb service that takes care of you and does not ever hover over you and make you feel pushed so they can "turn the table fast" . Gotta love it when the Chef comes to the table to make sure...
