My children attend the YMCA Camp Big Foot. I discovered lice in my daughters hair this week. She came home today saying that one of her counselors told her several of the kids have it. My step daughters who do not attend the day camp, but do take swim lessons at the YMCA also developed lice. Apparently there has been several complaints about people getting lice from the pool. In ShortThe first U.S. branch of the YMCA started in Boston in 1851; there are now more than 2,500 locations nationwide, making it the country's largest nonprofit community service program. Each YMCA reflects the community it's in, offering differing services based on the area. Most include fitness areas with aerobic equipment, classes and racquetball and tennis courts. Many also have day care and after-school programs, as well as summer day camps.

The staff is responsive and well trained. I am particularly impressed by the staff that works with children and youth. They are well trained.

This particular facility is bar none the best! Every member of their staff always has a smile on their face, always goes above & beyond the call of duty, & must have been hired because of their helpfulness, honesty, caring attitudes. The attitudes, positive of course, are for the young all the way to the old! Keep up the great work! We love coming.
