This gym is okay. The front desk staff NEVER speak, no hello, goodbye or anything. But the staff in the cardio/workout room are nice and pleasant on the weekdays. The equipment is okay, plenty of the same stuff. That part is very annoying to have the same type of equipment. There is really no room to do floor exercises.The ladies locker rooms smell like dirty socks everyday.

I'd rank this place below average compared to some of the other ymca's in Houston but better than some of the older ones. No towels but they have a swimming pool. Gym is medium size and equipment ok. Membership is more expensive than 24 hr fitness and Anytime Fitness. About twice as expensive. But a lot more classes than those places.

The gym is rarely open due to the fact the kids have camp during the summer until 3 and volleyball starts at 5. The kids bring dirt in the gym causing the gym to be slippery.
