if you are looking for a local swim team, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!! you will be setting your child up for disaster. The owner and aquatics director do not care one iota for the swim team. Both have very poor people skills and because of that have driven this once mighty swim team to a doomed dismal mess. I simply cannot see how the main YMCA or the Y?s Board of Directors even allows this Y to function. The Y creed states it?s a place for the community for Christian values showing our youth how to become leaders. Why is it then both management and the director are always yelling and...

This branch of the YMCA opened in 1973 and continues to offer the Crystal Lake Area a place to participate in sporting and fitness activities. The Sage YMCA has spinning classes, racquetball and swimming for adults and kyuki-do (martial arts), basketball, soccer, T-ball and swimming for kids. The Piranha swim team hails from this YMCA.
