In Short
The first U.S. branch of the YMCA started in Boston in 1851; there are now more than 2,500 locations nationwide, making it the country's largest nonprofit community service...
I think they really do try to make each and ever customer happy and to ensure that all there needs or met. I really love the Sports DEPT....HENRY

The staff at the Y are just fantastic! I love the sports programs and as this is my 3rd child participating in these programs all I can say is they are the best. A GREAT influence.
Our kiddos had great experiences playing YMCA sports in another state, so when we moved here we looked nowhere else but the Y for sports. So far, it's been very hit and miss. It seems that most of the soccer teams are already established…
I have also been to other fitness clubs and the YMCA is the only place that I do not feel intimidated to go to and feel welcomed. The other clubs seem like meat markets and for only fit people, not for people looking to get fit.
Check the website to see what your local YMCA offers.
