Wanted Japanese and the wait at Bishamon was an hour, so we went to Yashima. My friend order a beef teriyaki place, as she doesn't care for fish of any kind and beef teriyaki is about as adventurous as she cares to get. The combination dinner was $18.00, terribly overpriced for the minimal amount of beef, very thinly sliced, overcooked...

Always great meals. We like the salads, the combo's, the sushi, the sashimi, the udon....we like everything. A bit of a wait on weekends and it's a chance to talk to your famly.

Not sure what needs to be said, they make great sushi. They do not have the biggest selection of rolls in the world but the one's they do have are terrific! Besides, too many sushi places go crazy with rolls and lose sight of quality sushi in my opinion.

By far my favorite local sushi restaurant. Been coming here for 15 years and never dissappointed. Always fresh fish and good portions. Very few can rival Yashimas.
