My experience with Yarbrough was extremely disappointing. I paid a $1,500 retainer expecting professional legal support, but within just 9 business days, I had to terminate the relationship due to his lack of communication. He was unresponsive, provided no updates, and never initiated any legal work.
After ending the engagement, I requested a refund—only to be told that not only would I not get any of my retainer back, but that I owed him money. This was shocking, given that no case was ever opened and no meaningful services were provided. The claim felt completely unjustified and unprofessional.
Due to the nature of this experience and the mishandling of client funds, I will be contacting the Alabama State Bar to file a formal complaint. I strongly advise others to proceed with extreme caution before hiring this attorney.
