The restaurant was very accommodating of our last minute large group and provided great food and service on New Year's Eve. We had a wonderful time!
Our group spent a nice evening enjoying good food, drink , and service at Xilantro. It's worth a visit. We have been there many times.
It wasn't cheap, but no one in our large party was disappointed with any of the appetizers, drinks, or dishes
let's start with what is really very good--grouper, sangria, made-to-order guacomole dip, corn chowder. other dishes are fine including any of the enchiladas and chicken with pork. staff are nice, but this visit's was inexperienced with the menu and with service style--that is unusual, as staff have been very experienced and knowledgeable in the past.
I've been to Xilantro many times and the food and service is always very good. However, my pet peeve is the service charge that restaurants routinely drop onto the bill for parties of 6 or more, and Xilantro added 20% to the bill's total, including alcohol and tax, which I think is excessive. My total tab was over $500, which means I had to pay about $100 just for the pleasure of walking...
