Living in Summit County, we have little outages and surges at least twice a week. I manage a hotel in the county - this morning I was told by an Xcel employee that the hour plus outage this morning was "the price to pay living in such a beautiful area" Meanwhile, I get to refund some customers because I couldn't make the coffee or have the breakfast ready because my power is out. Our meter is not easily accessible and Xcel has made every effort to make sure they get accurate readings of our usage every month. Even when a bad meter reading was made, they corrected it as soon as possible and customer service was very knowledgeable of everything going on and explained it so well. I am so pleased with how ethical and honest Xcel has been with us!
