Wu's Garden...a legacy of great food & better people

This place was a classic Vienna restaurant, ranking right up there with Knossos and Conrad's. The food was excellent--distinctive and delicious. The prices may have seemed high to some but nearly every entree stretched to a second meal, so the value was actually pretty good. But as good as the food and authentically styled dining area were the Wu's themselves. There just aren't better people...

Maybe I've just found a lot more really good places in my travels and this one just seems a little more average than before, but it ranks in the "just ok" category now. I generally get take out and it's generally pretty good. I have felt a little quesy hours later- sort of a chemical after taste- msg maybe- prices are a little high- but they always get the order right- good but not very good

One of my early dates with my husband was at Wu's -- almost 25 years ago. This is a fixture restaurant in Vienna -- same owner back then as now. Wu's Garden is a family-owned Chinese restaurant that has been in Vienna since 1974. The dark-wood interior and retro styling add to the refined atmosphere, though if you aren't interested in eating in you can place a phone order from the extensive take-out menu.
