This is a nice, simple and unpretentious dinner option. We enjoyed the Caesar salad (tasty homemade dressing) and would go out of our way to eat the shrimp tempura again. My husband really liked his duck entrée, and I truly enjoyed my glass of Virginia grown red wine. Service was pleasant.

Great little down town restaurant

We've eaten here before when visiting the area. It's small so I'd suggest a reservation. Food is excellent and service is friendly. Everything is fresh and they have local wines and beer. I love the mushroom duck breast and everything everyone ordered was delicious. They have expanded their menu to include some lighter dishes and burgers.

At this eclectic Front Royal restaurant, there’s no question what you should try: both the wine and duck are phenomenal! Not much of a drinker or a fan of waterfowl? The Wine and Duck’s diverse menu has plenty of other stuff to offer. So have a seat and enjoy a pleasant evening of classic jazz, good service and quality conversation.
