Whym, which is pronounced as whim, is a sleek restaurant that offers trendy classic American cuisine near Columbus Circle. Whym has brunch, lunch, dinner, and prix fixe menus.
"Whym concentrates on pepped-up remixes of hearty traditional dishes, playing with classics the way their logo toys with form (it reads the same even when it's flipped). Take for example the chopped salad, which here features asparagus, bosc pear, beet cubes, crumbled feta, and a basil vinaigrette. The best thing about the dish though is that it works and is delicious: this is not a reinvention...
Whym Restaurant Review: Whym is a fun and busy neighborhood spot from the same owners as nearby Eatery. The menu offers a contemporary take on American classics and includes dishes such as pulled duck sliders with pomegranate-cascabel barbecue sauce and parsnip-carrot slaw; candy cane beet salad with chicken, Fuji apples, asparagus, golden and red beets, feta and basil vinaigrette; and baked...
Tidy lunch, brunch, and dinner spot on the upper end of Hell's Kitchen tries just a little bit harder than similar restaurants located a couple of blocks east, and we love them for it. Pulled duck sliders, yellowfin tuna tartare gets you going, turkey meatloaf or Whym's sirloin burger takes you all the way. Whimsically Whym cocktails like Talk to the Buddha's Hand (house-infused buddha hand...

They were more like fried chicken (and kind of dry). However, I enjoyed the ham omelet. Great place to sober up and get some food into the system.
I've been here before and they usually give you an amazing bagel lox and cream cheese. Here is what I got tonight which ruined my faith in them. And because the yelp app sucks so bad when trying to post a photo, I gave them one less star.
Perfect place for breakfast! Standard home cooked yummy diner breakfast is what I just want most of the time. Not that fancy overrated brunch places. Places like this is hard to come by in NYC
How lucky am I to have this classic, New York diner on my way back home! Great selection, value, service and hours (24). I am equally a fan of their 44th Street location but the prices here seem a tad milder. The best diner fries, ever.
This isn't a review of their food but of their delivery guy and their customer service. I was walking across the street with my dog. Yes, I had the right of way. I could see this bike in the corner of my eye and he wasn't slowing down. I wanted to make sure he saw me crossing and he had to stop so I said, …
