Food was good and service was equally good. In addition to the meal, had to try a slugburger. I guess it's a local specialty and very popular, but it really wasn't all that good, to be honest. At least I can say I had one. Don't let that stop you though. It's an ok place and prices are reasonable.

Well, I finally got the opportunity to try the "famous" slugburger. It's a fried thin patty with mustard, sliced onion and bun. Loving a slugburger must be an acquired taste. I have lived in the area all my life. Since I can remember, we have gone to White Trolley for their slug burgers. I have never had a bad one from there. A small quaint place with barstools for seating.

Been going to white trolley for over 50 yrs. Not as good as yrs ago but still best in town. The workers & owners are excellent & work extremely hard. They are very busy during rush hours.

White Trolley Cafe is a cozy little fast food joint located just off the Lee Highway. On the menu you will find classic American fast food like slugburger with curly fries and chilly dogs. To go with your meal, you can order cola and other soft drinks. For dessert, you can try the fruit pie, moon pie or the nutty bar. This cozy little restaurant is a great spot to stop for a quick meal!
