Like a lunar eclipse or a four leaf clover, spotting a restaurant with a focus on locally sourced food and expertly crafted cocktails in downtown is an anomaly. White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails is just that, a mirage in the dining desert, offering area worker bees and tourists alike, something different on convention alley. Executive chef Ben Vaughn has crafted a Southern menu of housemade meats, roasted quail, Beaufort stew, caramel fried chicken and more items which will change by the season. The cocktail menu is equally impressive, boasting a mean old fashioned crafted with top notch spirits.

I had one of the best meals here. Truly a current favorite restaurant. The roasted duck will blow you away.

White Oak makes great use of a vacant space with a rustic interior and superb southern fare. Try the lamb burger!

Casual with an urban chic interior. With ginormously high ceilings, not the best place for a quiet dinner BUT if you've heard it all before from your dining companion GO! You must try the BLT deviled eggs, the short ribs and green beans and the most surprisingly favorite of mine: the trout ravioli!

The veal porterhouse is delicious. The strip steak .special was also very good. Try the pork belly lettuce wrap, unique and tasty. Great service.

White Oak has delicious food and drinks. The service is very cordial, but sloooowww. Not conducive to a 1 hr work lunch, if that is all of the time you have.

Booked the restaurant based on food and drink menus with this being a business outing. We found the food excellent and the drink options nice. Our first wine choose was not available, but we were able to find a suitable substitute. We had a party of 6 at a round table which was great for all to participate in the conversation throughout the meal. The service was a little slow or lacking in...

I was very pleased with my first experience hosting a business group at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails! With a group of 8, we had regular attention from two servers teamed to take care of us. Service was prompt and thorough. More importantly, food was presented well and delicious! I will confidently schedule future dinner meetings here when needed in Midtown Atlanta!
