On our anniversary weekend, we stopped in at White Hall for a tasting.
Just for me, as we just discovered that wife was expecting.
We never got past the tasting room, as our private sommelier was most friendly, and the place was very quiet on a Sunday afternoon but the photos lend to a magnificent view out behind the property....

It teases visitors with scenic views of the Blue Ridge, tempts them with free samples of award-winning wines and taunts them with the promise of a carefree, romantic weekend. Anyone who loves Chardonnay might be tempted to never go home.

The Wine
White Hall is best known for its '97 Reserve Chardonnay, but other notable wines are its Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Gris. A special tasting room entices guests to linger....

Charming winery just 15 minutes north of Charlottesville, near Mountfair Vineyards. Great view through the glass to the barrel/tank room.
