Located in the Sutton Place Hotel, this incarnation of the bar/lounge series owned by Cindy Crawford's entrepreneur husband Rande Gerber has a dining room serving upscale bar grub. The bar and patio are the places to be -- right in the middle of the Viagra Triangle action where you can flaunt your Sunday best and sip a martini while sussing out who's flush and who's faking.

I end up visiting places that more or less look good but may not be so good. I only came to Mexx for drinks so I don't know how awesome the food is (or ... not awesome in this case) but overall I thought the place was a solid 3-stars. Nothing extremely impressive but nothing terrible.
