This West End Hotel is the Old Washington Hotel of the 1950s. I lived there several years back. I am surprised it is still open for business. Culver City was a great place to live years ago. It is all very sad.

Someone told me this was a historic hotel across from the old MGM (SONY) lot. This is what we refer to as a "transient hotel" in the east. Room thefts, bed-bugs, cockroaches, etc. It hardly seems like a glamorous property catering to the tourist trade. There are other reviews on Yahoo that make one shutter. I have since moved because of the thefts that were taking place in which I do pay extra now, but i don't mind because a crew like the one at the "Westend" works together to make you believe you are not getting robbed or it is just misplaced. while of course your things come up missing. This hotel is located in beautiful downtown Culver City. It is a small facility with ample parking and maid service. Rooms are quaint and feature refrigerators and cable channels.
