As far as we can uncover, this historic building was built in about 1821 and has been a Tavern, Hotel and Carriage House. We... know from many conversations with some local families that this building was moved from the other side of rte 81 sometime in the 1920's. The historic Wayside Country Inn is located in East Durham, NY in the Catskill Mountains. It is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been serving up home style meals, cold beers, and great times for over 20 years. Greene County's best pizza is made fresh and from scratch here every day. Be sure to try the Irish nacho's too!
