Have you ever taken your kids to the McDonald's play land and noticed your your taste buds and your mind slowly going numb? If so, then pack up the kids next time and go the Waterloo Ice House on a nice day. If not, then McDonald's is the place for you...stay there.

I visited this location while staying with my brother-in-law during ACL Fest 2014. The food is solid....atmosphere definitely family-friendly....service lackluster at best. I would likely visit again, since I have young kids, but there are many other places in Austin that are better while being accomodating to families.
