We visited Washington Platform for a recent jazz brunch. We will definitely make it a point to go again. The Mimosas and the Bloody Mary's were excellent, as was everyone's lunch. It was nice to be able to order from both the brunch and the regular menus. The fresh oysters were the best we've had since dining in Boston, where good seafood is taken for granted. We were looking for a nice Mother's Day brunch buffet. The notes about the brunch made it seem promising. When we got there it was not what we expected. The buffet was limited. The food was just okay. The desert station was full of items we could buy prepaid at Kroger. The sausages were boiled. The eggs were runny. The omlett bar was the only bright point.
Needness to say, we were disappointed.

Good food, great service in an environment suitable for meeting with friends and sharing conversation. Convenient downtown location with ample parking nearby.
