This museum, while in a new building and in a place that has a rich cultural identity, has little to offer the traveler. There was only one electronic trick that was even worth mentioning. It was a nice stop on our way to Yellowstone. I learned some history about this area of Wyoming that was new to me. Short and sweet visit. Got the senior citizen rate which made it worthwhile.
Recently constructed clean building offering tourism info; Dinosaur, Mammoth, and Old West displays. Performing Arts Events. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. An amazing gift shop.
This was an unexpected pleasure from a small town museum. It's mainly about settlers lives and the idians.
