Great Service!

Walt's Tv reapaired my Samsung LCD Tv today. The Technician Jimmy That came to my home repaired the tv fast and for only a few hundred buck's. I was Quoted much more when I called around, before I called Walt's Tv. The People on the phones were very professional. I will Use Walt's Tv Again.

Fast and professional

I had the best experience with Walt's a few days ago when they came out to fix my Sony TV. They were clean cut and very knowledgeable. They discovered a bad circuit board and installed another one right on the spot. The price was reasonable and the warranty is great!. I would recommend Walt's service to anyone. In addition to the great service they left me a sales sheet on new TV's and the prices are great, will visit Walt's when its time to purchase a new TV

The worst scammers in the valley...

First off I use to be an employee. Not a disgruntled employee, but one that needs to get something off my mind. Start with there service. They insist on sending an unskilled "field tech" to your home to "verify" the problem with your set. The truth behind this is to simply collect the $59.95 "trip charge". Keep an eye on your stuff while the "service man" is in your home. They will employ ANYONE who walks through the doors. Second, new TV sales. I have seen with my own eyes and cannot stand to know I was part of this. Walts repairs TV sets and packages them in "new" boxes and sells them as "new" tv sets. Thats right...repaired TV sets in "new" boxes. I am ashamed to have been part of this. Please use a reputable merchant and stay away from these crooks.

This post was created by an employee that was fired. It was created the same day the employee was fired. It is unfortunate that I must take time to respond to these types of reviews. We know we are not perfect and are constantly trying to improve the customer experience while lowering the cost for the customer. Some customer have real complaints and I welcome them and do not mind responding to them. This post is so slanderous that I have no choice but to respond. Scamya claims that we send unskilled techs to the home. For the Record: Walt's employs three levels of Technicians. 1.) Lead Tech: Sent to the Home to verify problem and do basic repairs, adjustments and fix hookup problems. 2.) In Home Tech: A tech that can preform most repairs in the home and can do circuit level repair troubleshooting. 3.) Bench Tech: A tech that can preform any type of repair and are capable of troubleshoot any type of tv malfunction. Before we dispatch a tech to the customers home a Service Advisor use industry standard practices to pre determine which tech to send out. I will not go into all of the costs we incur in dispatching a truck with 1 or two techs to a home. But I will tell you that not only do we not make money collecting a $59.95 trip charge but in fact, most case we loose money unless the customers product is repaired. As for the slanderous charge that we repair tv's and sell them as new. I am not sure what the employee is talking about. But we do not sell used products at this time and when we did the customer knew they were buying a used TV. We do sell our floor samples at the end of the model year. We may also sell the service, return, scratch & dent Items at a discount. But the customer should always know and often customers ask for these products because of the special discounts that we provide. All Walt's in home employees have to pass a back round check before working for Walt's. I have never even had a customer accuse or suggest that any of Walt's employees had stolen anything from their home. People have Trusted Walts's for over 50 years , yes 50 years! We do everything we can to make sure that we do not violate that trust in any way. I hope that this former member of the Walt's family finds peace with himself and he will be in my prayers and I welcome him to stop by and have a talk.

Worst service I have ever experienced

They took my TV in for repair that was supposed to take 6-10 days. 3 weeks later they still don't know what the problem is. They keep ordering and replacing parts. The old trial & error method. I can do that myself. Cannot give me a completion date and will not call me to keep me informed. You would be better off to just throw away your TV and go buy a new one.

I am not sure of the details behind this review. I am always concerned when we have a customer that is not satisfied. Walt's does try to achieve 100% satisfaction and has had an A rating with the BBB for over 30 years. Walts's Estimates on repair times, costs are estimates they are not an exact quote with an exact time. And we always qualify them with possible exceptions like "Parts on back order" . We do not use the trial and error method at all but sometimes you have to replace the battery before you find that the starter is bad in your car. If we do find that our estimate of time or cost is more then we quoted the customer can choose not to proceed with the repair and their product is returned and any deposit is refunded. I hope this customer will give us another chance with their next repair. Walt
