Rent is cheap because the apartments are old and dilapidated, but the staff is very nice. I do have to put in maintenance requests almost weekly, but the maintenance staff usually comes within 24 hours and completes all work requested. Overall, the community is diverse and friendly. Walton River is a great complex for young professionals and young families - the amenities are well-kept, the staff is very helpful, and the community offers activities and programs to get residents involved in local events. It's convenient to most things in Atlanta - 15 minutes from nearly everything, thanks to its immediate access to I-75 and 285.
