As a former resident of Walton Reserve, I would not recommend this community to anyone. At first glance, it gives the appearance of a fine, beautiful community. Don't let the outward appearance fool you. The staff is very unfriendly after you "sign the lease" and the crime is much higher than expected. As a former renter at Walton Reserve in Austell, GA - I urge you to please research police reports and crime for the community. When I lived there, we had many break ins and theft to cars. Although the community is gated, the crime was high (from other renters as well as guests of renters) and I didn't feel that my children were 100% safe. Walton Reserve can only be described as breathtaking. This gated community has many amenities for residents, for example it has its own post office and a town hall for social functions.
