Health Dept is the best bet

If it's as bad as the employees made it out I am surprised they haven't had it shut down. My guess is they added drama.

It is basically up to the Health Dept to investigate. Follow up with them and make sure they investigated. I have worked with the Health Dept many years ago in Houston and always found them to work with me on these type of complaints more so than other areas of the state. On December 20, 2008, I purchased 1 lb of Manda's Cajun Roast Beef at the Deli at Walmart, 15955 FM 529 Road, Houston - (281) 855-1305.
The meat was spoiled. I went back to the store I asked for a Manager. 20 minutes later one showed up. I explained the meat was bad and he asked what I wanted. I told him I wanted a fresh package opened and sliced on a clean slicer.
