I came to this shelter when I was looking to adopt a pet.I was approached at the door by a young woman who angrily asked "What are you doing here? " I said I hoped to see an animal to adopt. She curtly replied to me , "We are closed to the public. Our funding was cut." I was at a loss as to what to say.
