If you're from out of town, skip this place and go down the road to Country Cafe. Or do that even if you're local. The Waffle House server blatantly ignored us, didn't even come over to ask us if we needed anything to drink, all while helping out EVERYONE else in the place. It was so obvious the cook said …
Waffle house is a small place with really cheap food. With that being said... I don't complain about wait time and if I want takeout, I order ahead of time on the phone. The food is good for a late meal. I couldn't do what these people do working there in such small quarters and everyone watching me. That's why I leave a really nice tip every time.
My husband went over to get take out breakfast for us. He waited 20 mins for someone to take our order and finally left. We ended up going to Whataburger. If you don't want our money we certainly won't force you to!!!!!
