What happened?. The young chef was putting out incredible food months ago... Took my mom there for Mother's Day, and it was a complete let down! DISASTER! Canned vegetables, and other poorly prepared dishes lined their so called "buffet". Food quality varies like a roller coaster. Service is deplorable/ untrained. How it stays open is a mystery to me.... Go elsewhere!

We stayed at the Vue hotel for a conference and the complimentary breakfast was so good we decided to try the dinner offerings. So glad we did! We ate twice at the Vue restaurant and the food was exquisitely prepared by the chef. It was unusual (try the fried green tomatoes) in not being anything like expected! This is clearly a highly creative and talented chef who produced flavours that I have never tasted before that were all quite extraordinarily delicious.

Great food, great view, quiet and relaxing meal

Cannot say enough about the food provided at this location. It may be an old hotel but the proprietor is spending a lot of time and effort in providing great food. What pleased us even more was that the restaurant was quiet and allowed for easy conversation with our guests.
