I've worked for them twice now (2004 & 2005). Volt's fine if you need work right away but they are famous for offering people "temp-2-hire" positions and then the employer never hires you (example: SpeakEasy, MicroSoft & Amazon). I've found their reps. generally uninformed or misinformed about the specifics of a given position, like WHERE exactly it's at! They also like to gloss over the facts...

When I was in need of a job I was interviewed by a company that only hired contractors through Volt. I've worked with many contracting agencies in the past so I had no reservations working with Volt. I made an appointment after I was given the "okay" by the company and I showed up for what Volt called "Orientation".

I haven't used Volt's services for a few years, but they helped me tremendously when I first moved to Seattle and was searching for a job. They put me to work right away, and I landed a permanent job at a great company. The thing I remember most was the man in charge of helping me; he was very friendly and helped ease my stress of being out of work. I recommend them highly.
