The Vine first started out as a small tapas bar and within two years had expanded their bar and restaurant into a full operation that continues to focus on using fresh and local ingredients as much as possible. The Vine - Martini & Wine Bar is a local Grayslake establishment that is set out to create a friendly and warm environment that constantly pushes the boundaries with over 60 signature martinis. The Vine has been currently focusing on craft beer and great. Come enjoy the amazing outdoor patio.
We came as a couple the first night and a group of six the second. Both nights were spot on. Great craft beer selection good wine list and two pages of ?. We tried several plates of salmon pasta and steak. They were all great....
The charcuterie boards and the salmon are my favorite, but you can’t go wrong at the Vine! They have an extensive beer, wine and martini list too! My only complaint is that our favorite Pasta dish, Buffalo chicken tortellini has been taken off the menu.
We ordered take out and we’re very impressed by the food. And the servers were so nice when we went to pick up the food! The atmosphere there is rustic and warm and we can’t wait to dine in and hang out when we move...
They have a great variety of beers on tap. Burgers made to order are delicious. I had mine with tater tots. They didn’t skimp on the tots. Plenty on my plate. The patio is nice and relaxing on a sunny day. Hawley was our waitress...
The Scarface sandwich at this restaurant is a variation of a Cuban sandwich but only better! Pork belly instead of ham makes this sandwich a superior alternative. If you like Cubans you’ll love this one
